The Memorial Drinking Basin at Craig Gowan in Easter Balmoral was built in 1880. It is a free-standing structure made of granite, featuring a pointed-arch niche with a roll-moulded arch and a string course. The basin has an inscribed frieze and scrolled ornament at the top, which shelters an ogival basin that has a rope-moulding around its rim.
