Description
This is an 18th-century farmhouse situated within the Cairngorms National Park. The main house is a symmetrical, two-storey building with three bays. It is constructed of harl-pointed rubble and has later, single-storey wings added to the north and south gables. A timber porch, built later, obscures the central front door. The first floor has small windows, and the windows throughout have 4-pane glazing. The roof is covered with graded Tomintoul slate, with coped stacks on the end and rear walls. The steading complex is not included as part of this listing. The building's Grade B categorization was reviewed and confirmed on 9 November 1987.
