Description
This drinking fountain, built around 1850, is a free-standing structure made of granite ashlar. It is located on the drive to the west of Balmoral Castle, near the cricket ground. The fountain has a rectangular base with a circular basin that projects outward. At the top, there is a semicircular niche with a cornice. In the center, a bronze masque serves as the water spout, and it is flanked by small niches designed for drinking cups.
