Description

37 St John Street in Stirling is a late 18th century, three-storey, two-bay terraced tenement. The building is constructed of rubble with painted margins.

On the north elevation facing St John Street, there is a blocked window to the right at ground level, and a timber door on the left with a fanlight that provides pend access to the adjacent properties at 35A and 35B, which are listed as category B. There is a flanking window next to the door, and to the left, there is a second timber door with a window. The upper floors feature regular fenestration, with a blocked window at the first floor situated between two existing windows.

The building has timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing, a roof covered in grey slates, and a 19th century rooflight. There is also a stack in the east gable with cans.
