Description
33, 35A and 35B St John Street in Stirling is a classical town house built in the later 18th century. It stands three storeys high and has five bays, constructed from rubble with painted margins and features an eaves band and quoin strips.
On the north elevation facing St John Street, there is a pedimented doorpiece supported by Tuscan columns. The timber door includes a fanlight and is flanked by two windows on each side. The upper floors have regular fenestration with timber sash and case windows, featuring 15-and-12-pane glazing. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there is a stack on the east gable with ten cans.
The interior was not seen in 1997.
