Railway Hotel, Stirling Road, Dunblane

The Railway Hotel is a later 18th century, two-storey, three-bay, rectangular-plan inn located on Stirling Road in Dunblane. It features a symmetrical gabled design and is constructed from harled sandstone rubble, with painted squared and tooled margins around the openings.

The southeast, or principal elevation, has a regular arrangement of windows and a central two-leaf, timber panelled door. The windows have projecting cills, and there are early 20th century box dormers present.

The northwest rear elevation was not visible in 2001, while the northeast and southwest side elevations are obscured by adjacent buildings.

The windows are plate glass, timber-framed, sash and case types. The roof is covered with concrete tiles, and there are cast-iron rainwater goods and coped gable stacks.

The interior was not seen in 2001.
