Description

Dunblane Bridge, located over the Allan Water on Stirling Road in Dunblane, was predominantly built in 1849, with a rebuild in 1927 that incorporated earlier materials. It features a single span with a segmentally-arched design. The bridge has a combination of squared sandstone and random rubble for its abutments and arch ring, while the road structure consists of steel and concrete girders. The parapet is made of yellow sandstone ashlar and is balustraded.
