Description
9 Glebe Crescent is a villa built in the later 19th century, featuring two stories and an attic, constructed from snecked rubble. It is located on a corner site, with a three-window frontage facing Park Avenue. The right-hand ground floor has a tripartite window, while the others are bipartite. The centre of the building has a wallhead gable with a raised first-floor window, above which are blind lights over a transom that contains sculptured tympana. The entrance features a segment-headed, moulded doorpiece with a hood mould, flanked by two piended dormers topped with ball finials.
To the left, there is a single-storey wing with a four-light rectangular bay, and to the right, a tripartite window with a central door. The Glebe Crescent frontage also has three bipartite windows, with a canted bay at the centre of the ground floor. The lower central section of the roof features a piended dormer head with simply moulded shouldered openings. The roofs are patterned and slated.
