Description
2 Park Avenue in Stirling is a later 19th-century detached villa that features an asymmetrical design and a mildly Italianate style. The main block includes a canted bay window on the right and a tripartite window on the left, with arched windows on the first floor. There is a semi-elliptically arched entrance porch set back on the west gable. To the east, a lower two-storey wing is only slightly recessed, showcasing a band of four small arched windows on the first floor and a low screen wall with segment-headed openings beyond. The villa has low-pitched, broad-eaved slated roofs, and lozenge chimney shafts at the gables, which are adorned with fluted friezes and supporting scrolls.
