Description
14 Glebe Crescent is a later Victorian, two-storey, symmetrical semi-detached villa. The building features coursed rubble construction and has reversed plans. It includes two bipartite windows above consoled doorpieces, with a continuous iron balcony situated between spired canted bays. The windows are mullioned and transomed, and there are narrow bays with single-storey piended wings, which have been altered to a garage at number 14. The openings are stop-chamfered, except at the doors. The villa has bracketed, broad eaved, slated roofs with Art Furniture style braces at the gables and gablets. The spired roofs of the bays are adorned with bell-cast, patterned slating and decorative iron finials. Additionally, the building features interesting original chimney pots that are diapered with crenellated tops.
