Description

Late 18th century, single storey and attic cottage, originally thatched. Of 4 irregular bays; possibly originally 5 bays. Blue painted harl with ashlar margins and eaves course.

FRONT (N) ELEVATION: to main road, openings close under eaves. Timber boarded window to left of centre with naroow 2-pane strip fanlight, 3 windows to right retaining 12-pane sash and case glazing, slightly smaller window to outer left with later glazing.

W GABLE: window in gable to attic.

E GABLE: rebuilt in brick with concrete skew.

REAR (S) ELEVATION: lean-to timber additions. Steeply pitched roof, harled stacks with thackstanes. Thetch replaced/covered by corrugated sheet metal.
