7-10 Kemp Street, Hamilton

3-6 Kemp Street in Hamilton is a three-storey building constructed in 1904 by Alexander Cullen. It features shops on the ground floor and is designed in a plain 'Glasgow style' tenement that follows the curve of the road. The exterior is made of cream ashlar with red brick at the rear and has a rendered gable and slate roof. The building has corniced shopfronts and doors, with shallow canted windows that have corniced parapets on the two central bays and the outer bays. The windows are sash and case, with plate glass on the bottom and four panes on the top, although some have been replaced with modern materials that do not match the original character. The eaves are corniced, and there are tall T-plan coped wallhead stacks that break through the eaves, topped with uniform terracotta cans.

The front elevation includes four shopfronts and two close doors on the ground floor. The upper floors feature two three-light canted windows in the center, with four additional windows on the left and right, including canted outer windows.
