10 Hunter Street, 8, East Kilbride

10 Hunter Street consists of a row of three mid-18th century weavers' cottages, all single storey. The cottages are built from squared and snecked rubble, featuring painted margins and a base course.

On the southeast elevation, there is a single window with a deeply recessed door flanked by windows in the right bays. The door has a 5-pane fanlight above it, with a single window to the right and two windows to the left in the center. There is another single window to the left, and in the left bays, there is a door with a bipartite window to the right and an adjoining window to the left.

The southwest elevation has a blind gable. The northwest elevation features modern extensions that cover two-thirds of the elevation, with a single window with a grille in the right bay. The northeast elevation is adjacent to another building.

The first four windows from the right have 12-paned glazing, while the windows to the left are modern. The cottages have a slate roof with straight skews, a central coped stack, and a brick stack in the rear skew of the southwest gable.
