Description
Kittochside Cottages, located on Kittochside Road, date back to the early 18th century. This row of three cottages is single storey with an attic and constructed from square and snecked rubble that has been painted.
The north elevation features, from right to left, four single windows, a door, two more single windows, another door, and a final single window. There are four attic windows spaced evenly across the roof.
On the east elevation, there is a small single window in the left bay of the attic. The south elevation shows three single windows that are irregularly spaced, followed by a door, another single window, a modern porch extension, and a final single window. The north elevation also has a small single window in the left bay of the attic.
Most of the glazing is modern, but there is an 8-pane sash and case window on the east elevation. The roof is covered with grey slate, featuring crowstepped skews and coped stacks at the wallheads, with two additional stacks along the roof. The interior was not seen in 2001.
