Description

This is a row of three cottages located on the west side of Church Street in Nunney. They were built in the early 18th century. The cottages are constructed of painted rubble with clay pantile roofs and two rubble chimney stacks. The facades are plain in appearance.

The cottages are two storeys and have an attic. Each cottage is one bay wide, except for number 2, which has two bays. The first floor windows are bead-moulded stone mullioned windows of two lights. Below them, on the ground floor, are similar three-light openings with labels above. The door openings have bead-moulded stone surrounds containing 20th-century doors. A two-light attic window is found on the right-hand return. There are gabled and pent-roofed 20th-century outshuts to the rear of the cottages.
