Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay tenement with commercial premises at ground floor. Painted render. String course to shopfront cornice; cill course to 2nd floor windows; eaves course; cornice; blocking course; pilasters divide bays to shopfront at ground.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central entrance to shopfront to left; 2-leaf timber door; flanking shop windows; arch-headed close to outer right. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors. 2 canted dormers at attic. Entrance to No 24 via close; timber door 3-light letterbox fanlight.

Shopfront windows at ground floor; plate glass timber sash and case windows at 1st and 2nd floors; 4-pane timber sash and case windows at attic. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped gablehead stacks; circular cans.

INTERIORS: not seen 1998.
