3 High Street, Maybole

3 High Street in Maybole is a building constructed in 1913. It has two storeys and features four bays, with the southern section being a wider, two-bay extension. The structure is made of snecked and stugged ashlar above a granite plinth, with polished dressings. The central entrance has an architraved door topped with a broken, segmental entablature and the insignia GVR. To the right, there is a wide gabled bay, while to the left are two transomed windows. The right side features a four-light window with mullions and transoms, which has segmentally-headed upper lights. On the first floor, there are three windows with finialled, pedimented heads, and two additional windows in the gable end that have decorative new-Jacobean heads. The building has crowstepped gables and a slate roof. The southern extension is a single storey with two bays and a balustraded parapet.
