Description

HV Eaglesham, late 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay house adjacent to the former Sandgate Church. Red sandstone ashlar; brick to side. Consoled shopfront cornice; main cornice; corniced dies to deep blocking course.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: deeply recessed shop entrance to left; glazed timber door; shop window to right; timber door to outer right, letterbox fanlight; 4 single windows at 1st floor; pilaster mullions divide bays; 3-light central pedimented window at attic; pilasters delineate bays.

Shop window at ground floor, 4- and 6-panes to upper sashes of timber sash and case windows at 1st and attic floors. Grey slate pavilion roof; corniced brick wallhead stacks; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
