Description
Kincraig is a later 19th century, asymmetrical, L-plan house that stands two stories high and features three bays. It has an advanced bay to the left and a round tower at the re-entrant angle. The exterior is constructed of snecked, stugged ashlar with polished dressings. The entrance is located in the tower and is framed by a rope-moulded architrave, topped with a stepped hood-mould.
On the first floor, there is a pilastered window with a crow-stepped gable head. The gabled bay to the left includes a canted four-light window on the ground floor, which has a parapet and dies with ball finials. Above this, there is a bipartite window with a scrolled head, and a blind gun loop is positioned in the gable head.
The right bay features a bipartite window below a stepped hood-mould, with a single light above that also has a crow-stepped gable head. The house is topped with end and wall-head stacks, crow-stepped gables, and a slate roof, which is conical over the tower.
