Description
4-6 Miller Road is a villa built in the later 19th century, featuring two storeys and three bays, with a recessed bay on the outer right. The exterior is made of channelled ashlar and includes a base course, cill courses for both the ground and first floors, a modillion cornice, and a blocking course. The window openings have aprons and pilaster mullions.
On the south elevation, there is a central entrance porch that is columned and pedimented, with fluted columns and a frieze decorated with triglyphs and discs. The doorframe has disc markings and contains a timber door with a letterbox fanlight above. There is a single window aligned above the entrance on the first floor, and bipartite windows on both floors in the flanking bays. Steps lead to the timber door of the recessed bay on the outer right, with an additional opening at the re-entrant angle.
The villa features plate glass timber sash and case windows, a grey slate roof with stone skews, a rooflight, coped gablehead stacks, and circular cans.
The interior was not seen in 1998. The property also includes railings that sit atop a low coped boundary wall, with vehicular entrances on both the outer left and right sides.
