Description
Anderson's Buildings is an early 19th-century, two-storey, four-bay terraced shop with a flat above, located on Main Street in Scalloway. The building features lined render with painted ashlar dressings and an eaves course.
The south elevation facing Main Street is asymmetrical, with a door positioned in the bay to the left of centre and shop windows in the flanking bays. The first floor has regular fenestration. The north elevation at the rear has its ground floor obscured by a single-storey extension.
The south elevation includes 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the first floor at the rear has 4-pane windows. The roof is covered with purple-grey slate, and there are granite mutual stacks with circular cans.
