Description

Earlier 19th century. 3-storey tenement with 2-bay gable to street and 3-bay elevation to Hill Lane (N). Random rubble gable with droved ashlar dressings, cement-rendered and lined N elevation. Projecting cills to windows.

E (COMMERCIAL STREET) ELEVATION: modern shopfront framed by rubble corners at ground, regular fenestration at 1st floor, single window at 2nd floor in bay to left.

N (HILL LANE) ELEVATION: plate glass fixed-light shop window at ground to outer left; infilled window at 1st floor in bay to outer right, window above and in bay to left.

Modern glazing throughout. Purple-grey slate roof with cast-iron gutter and downpipe with hopper to N elevation. Coped rubble apex stack with circular cans, cement-rendered skew copes.
