Description

The stable, garage, cottages, and barn are early 19th-century structures, likely incorporating earlier fabric, located on the Bonjedward House estate.

The stable is a single-story, five-bay rubble block. The left side features three bays with stable stalls, including a door flanked by single windows and a roof ventilator. A further door and window are present to the right, alongside a chimney stack. The roof is piended and covered with grey slates. A later garage bay has been added to the rear, with a cat-slide roof.

The garage is a single-story rubble building, altered from an earlier form, and features a pair of boarded, two-leaf garage doors. It has a gabled roof with pyramidal skewputts covered in grey slates. The north gable includes a blocked archway and a blocked pointed arch in the gablehead, possibly representing a former dovecot. Open implement sheds with corrugated-iron roofs are attached to the south.

The cottages are a single-story, L-plan rubble building, with the north range harled. The north range has three bays and a door on the left side. The rear of the north range has two large windows on the right and two smaller windows on the left, along with a further door in the end elevation. The south range comprises six irregular bays: a door, a louvred opening, a door, a window, a window, and a door, from left to right. The rear elevation of the south range has five windows and a door to the inner right. Both ranges have piend roofs covered with grey slates and brick stacks.

The barn, located to the west, is a broad, low building with an entrance to the hay loft from an embankment at the rear. It has a piended roof covered with grey slates.

The structures are designated as a group value with Bonjedward House, the Walled Garden, and the Lodge, which are listed separately.
