Description

Barns Tower is a well-preserved structure located near Barns stables. It is designed as a rectangular keep, rising three cottages high with an attic. The ground floor features a vaulted ceiling. Although the building has undergone significant alterations, with modern roof and floors, the entrance doorway on the ground floor still has its grated iron yett. The date "1498" is carved into the lintel, although this inscription seems to be of more recent origin.
