Description

Manor Parish Church at Kirkton Manor was built in 1874. It is a simple rectangular structure made of red bullnosed sandstone, featuring an ornamental gable bellcote. At the opposite end, there is an apse that contains the vestry.

The site has a history of several earlier churches that were supposedly dedicated to St Gordian or Gorgham. The church has a bell that is dated 1483. In the churchyard, there is a headstone from 1845 commemorating David Ritchie, known as the Black Dwarf, who died in 1811.
