Description

Hallyards is a large, sprawling house finished in limewashed harling. The main part of the building likely dates back to the 17th century, while the bow fronted wing was added in the late 18th century. The stables, which feature a pediment, were built in 1791. Sir Robert Lorimer made alterations and additions to the house in 1897.
