Description
Ardross Church, built in 1899 by architects Ross and Macbeth, is a Gothic-style structure made of red sneck coursed rubble with contrasting tooled ashlar dressings. The church is oriented east to west and features a projecting gabled porch at the southwest and a Minster's Room at the northeast. It has five-bay buttressed flanks with hoodmoulded square-headed windows, each containing three cusped lights. The east gable apex showcases a holdmoulded rose window with a finial cross above and two small flanking windows below. A bellcote is located at the west gable, and the roof is covered with slate. The interior is simple and includes stained glass windows dedicated to John Stewart Dyson Perrins, created between 1898 and 1913.
