Description

The stables at Barns House are a symmetrical structure built from coursed whinstone with red sandstone dressings. At the center, there is an octagonal tower with a slate roof that tapers to a concave apex made of lead, which is topped by a weathervane. The building features flanking pavilions and lower connecting wings, with a courtyard located at the rear. These stables were constructed at the same time as the mansion.
