Description

16th century. Keep. Square. 3 storeys. Harled; piended

slate roof. Corbelled parapet; angle turrets. Iron yett.

Interior modernised: Vaulted ground floor; Dungeon below

cut out of rock. Turnpike stair.

Addition to N: c. 1835. Originally a long wing; now reduced.

2 storeys and attic. Gabled roof; gabled dormer. Moulded

string-course. Gablet above entrance.

Rubble rampart to E.
