Description
Bridge Castle is a 3-storey keep built on a rock in the early 16th century. It features random rubble construction and a corbie-stepped gable. The roof is slated, and there are pedimented dormers along with a crenellated parapet. In the 17th century, a 4-storey wing with a garret was added to the keep. Inside, the first storey has a vaulted ceiling, while the other storeys have been entirely modernised. There is a stair tower in the re-entrant angle, and 19th-century extensions to the rear, along with offices and stables to the south.
