Description
Greys Court, The Keep is a Grade I listed building located in Rotherfield Greys. This structure features a 14th-century tower with an attached range that has undergone alterations in the 16th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The tower is constructed of flint with stone dressings, while the attached range is made of flint with areas of brick. It has a plain old tile roof and brick stacks. The tower is octagonal and consists of three storeys, while the attached range has two storeys and an attic. Each face of the tower has a slit window with a moulded stone surround on every floor. The attached range displays irregular fenestration, primarily from the 19th or 20th century, though the window openings on the gable end may feature brick surrounds from the 17th century. The interior has not been inspected.
