Description

Skeldon Castle features the remains of a keep that have been incorporated into a modern estate dwelling. The building is constructed with large random stonework, which is harled in some areas. It stands two storeys high, and the rear gable has a roughly crowstepped design. The windows are modern, and there is a classical porch at the front. On the side of the building, there is a blocked round-headed doorway. The overall shape of the building is roughly square.
