Description

Wallhouse is a large castellated mansion that stands two storeys tall, constructed of ashlar stone. It features piended slated roofs behind crenellated parapets. The central block dates from the early 19th century and consists of five bays, with a gablet above the central bay. The end wings and rear tower were designed by Maitland Wardrop from Edinburgh in 1855.
