Description
Tullibole Castle is a 16th-century tower house that was extended eastwards in 1608. The building is harled and features a corbie-stepped slated roof. The tower is four storeys high and includes a turnpike stair at the northeast corner. The extension is two and a half storeys, with a kitchen on the first floor and a hall featuring a great fireplace on the second floor. There is a pediment dormer dated 1508. On the south side, a square stair tower has angle turrets and a bartizan above the entrance, which has a panel inscribed with M.I.H./H.O. and other details.
