Description

Large 4-storey and attic keep 43' x 37' of c. 1490 with

2-storey and attic S. wing dated 1630 and 1636 John Mylne III

master mason: dilapidated later 17th cent. repaired 1715,

partially demolished 1745, partly rebuilt 1822 and put into

habitable condition 1842. Arched N. wall new owing to

demolition of N. section. All interiors Victorian except at

ground floor.
