Description
Drummond Castle is a mansion built in an L-plan layout, primarily constructed from rubble. It is mainly two storeys high, with a three-storey section and an attic located at the angle of the building. The construction began in 1689 and was extended in the 18th century, with further alterations made in the early 19th century. Extensive additions and remodelling were carried out in 1878 and later by the architect G.T. Ewing from Crieff. The north side features a heavily buttressed terrace that was partly constructed before 1689.
