Description

Late 18th/early 19th century with minor alterations. 2-storey and attic; double-fronted end of terrace house, formerly 2 cottages. Harled with painted stone dressings. Painted surrounds (mainly stone) to openings.

N (PRINCIPAL ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: entrance (formerly to W cottage) to right of centre; plain timber door. Flanking windows to ground and 1st floors; that to right of ground floor has been enlarged.

S ELEVATION: entrance (formerly to E cottage) to right; boarded timber door. Stair window adjoining to left of lintel. Flanking windows to ground and 1st floor.

E ELEVATION: small attic window to gable end.

Mainly 4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof. Rendered and coped gablehead stack to E; round cans.

INTERIOR: not inspected (1998).
