7 Mid Row, Lauder

7 Mid Row in Lauder is a late 18th or early 19th century, double-fronted end of terrace house that was originally two cottages. The building is two stories with an attic and features harled walls with painted stone dressings. The openings have painted stone surrounds.

On the north elevation, which is the principal entrance, there is an entrance door to the right of the center that was formerly the entrance to the west cottage, featuring a plain timber door. There are flanking windows on both the ground and first floors, with the ground floor window to the right having been enlarged.

The south elevation has an entrance door to the right, which was formerly the entrance to the east cottage, and features a boarded timber door. There is a stair window to the left of the lintel, along with flanking windows on both the ground and first floors.

The east elevation includes a small attic window at the gable end. The building mainly has four-pane timber sash and case windows and is topped with a grey slate roof. There is a rendered and coped gablehead stack on the east side with round cans.

The interior was not inspected in 1998.
