Description
Cyrus House is an earlier 19th century, two-storey house with an attic and a three-bay rectangular plan, featuring later alterations. The exterior is finished in whitewashed harl with painted margins and flush cills.
On the south elevation, the entrance door is centrally located at ground level, flanked by single windows. The first floor has single windows in all bays. The east side elevation has a gable end with a part-glazed timber door to the right at ground level and a single window aligned above it on the first floor. There is a single window to the left at ground level, a bipartite window on the first floor, and a smaller attic light above. The north rear elevation has single windows in all bays on both floors. The west side elevation features a gable end with a bipartite window to the left at ground level, a single window aligned above it on the first floor, and a smaller attic light above.
The windows are timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are brick-built apex stacks with various circular cans. The rainwater goods are made of cast iron.
The interior was not seen in 1999.
