Description

Stobs Castle is an unusual example of Robert Adam's "castle style villa" or small mansion house, featuring a symmetrical design with a central main block and one-storey supporting wings. At the rear, there is a courtyard. The centre is adorned with a crowstepped pediment that is topped by a stone cross. Later Victorian additions and alterations include a Gothic porch and corner bay windows.
