Description

The water tank at Glenormiston House dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features an arched roof that is covered with turf.

On the west elevation, there is a segmental-arch design with paired brick voussoirs at the outer edge and a timber boarded entrance door. The other elevations consist of an arched mound that is covered with roofing felt, soil, and grass.

Inside, the tank is a deep rectangular structure over 8 feet deep, connected to inlet and outlet pipes.
