72-74 Oakshaw Street, Paisley

72-74 Oakshaw Street in Paisley is a building dating from around 1820, with additional bays added in the mid-19th century. It consists of two storeys and an attic, set into a cill, and features three bays with single-storey uneven wings. The exterior is made of horizontally droved masonry, which is painted, and includes angle margins and an eaves band.

The north front has two-storey bays, with a square bay on the left and a canted bay on the right, flanking an Ionic balustraded portico. The windows are plate-glass sash types, and there are two piended, canted dormers. The roofs are slate, with piended roofs over the wings.

Number 72 has a notable stained glass window in its original stair screen, while number 74 is accessed through a south door located at the original half landing height. The building features a band course between the ground and first floors, an eaves band, a cornice, and a blocking course, along with corniced end stacks.
