25 High Street, Jedburgh

25 High Street in Jedburgh is a pair of houses from the early 19th century, possibly incorporating earlier elements, which have been reworked into a single office. The building is two stories high with seven bays, and the right side features an earlier four-bay block that is slightly lower. The exterior is rendered with painted ashlar dressings, a base course, and a moulded cill course at the first floor, which steps down to the right.

Number 27 has three bays, with the outer right bay featuring a panelled door and a rectangular fanlight, framed by a pedimented architrave. Number 25 has four bays, with oculi in the outer left bay and a floating cornice at the ground level. The inner left bay has a closed panelled door, with the upper horizontal panel glazed as a fanlight, and a cornice above the windows. The rear of the building has been rebuilt with a gable end and attic. It features four-pane timber sash and case windows, a cast-iron downpipe with a decorative rainwater head at the center, flat leaded skews with a ball finial on the central gable, and is covered with grey slates.
