Description

Later 19th century. Thomsonesque details 2 storey and attic,

4-bay asymmetrical house with single storey extension at

left. Stugged ashlar, snecked to sides, rear and extension.

Porch with fluted Ionic columns supporting pediment with

acroterion. Double leaf panelled door. To right, 2

hoodmoulded sash windows: to left advanced bay with 2

storey canted window. Cornice over ground floor of latter,

band course over rest. 1st floor windows and angles have

dwarf pilasters to upper parts. Rear has 2 storey canted

window, and wallhead stack. Slate platform roof with slate-

hung dormer to rear. Extension has double leaf panelled door

with chamfered reveals to surround piended slate roof with

corniced end stacks. Ashlar gatepiers have incised Greek

ornament.
