Description
The Cistern and Wellhead at Rohallion, built around 1890, is a small, free-standing structure with a vaulted design, located in a wooded area to the northwest of Rohallion Lodge. It features uncut voussoirs that frame an arched entrance, which is situated below the remnants of a raised rubble gablet that likely once created a decorative rusticated finial effect. This entrance leads directly to the cistern. The wellhead has a semicircular-plan rubble rear wall topped by a conical roof made of large slate slabs.
