Description

The Well Head at Dalskairth House is a cylindrical structure with a cornice and dome, dated 1824. It is likely a former well head that was re-erected on its current site around 1900 when the present well head was constructed. The building is made of polished red ashlar and features a low east-facing doorway with a hood mould and a datestone above, which includes a panel that may date back to 1572.
