4 Kenmore Street, Aberfeldy

4 Kenmore Street in Aberfeldy is a pair of traditional houses built in the earlier to mid 19th century, featuring two storeys and six bays, with an additional two-storey house attached at the rear. The buildings are constructed from chlorite-slate rubble with heavy pointing, large quoins, projecting cills, and slab lintels.

The south elevation is symmetrical, with both houses having modern doors at the center and windows in the flanking bays. The first floor has regular fenestration, and the right house also features a blocked door on the outer right.

The east elevation has a gabled design with two windows on each floor; however, the windows on the ground and first floors to the left are blocked. Number 4 is located adjoining on the outer right.

The west elevation is also gabled, with a window on the left at each floor and Number 10 adjoining on the outer left.

Number 4 has an east elevation that is four bays wide, featuring a modern door in the bay to the right of center, with two windows to the left on both the ground and first floors, and altered windows on the outer right. The north elevation is a plain gabled design.

The first floor of Number 6 has a 12-pane glazing pattern, while Number 8 has 2-pane upper sashes over plate glass, with plate glazing patterns elsewhere, all in timber sash and case windows. Numbers 6 and 8 are roofed with graded grey slates, while Number 4 has concrete tiles. The buildings feature coped ashlar stacks with some cans and overhanging eaves with plain bargeboarding.
