Description

Blackcraig Castle is an asymmetrical Scots Baronial mansion built from rubble. It stands three storeys high and features elaborately corbelled turrets, along with a four-storey balustraded tower that has a cape-house. The castle is dated 1856, with some parts constructed later. It was designed by architect Patrick Allan Fraser.
