Description
The Agent's House in Longforgan is a former railway station house built in the mid-19th century. It is a single-storey building with an attic and has a rectangular plan. The structure is constructed of rubble with stugged and smooth-margined dressings, topped with a slate roof. There is an ashlar stack on the west side, while the eastern stack has been rebuilt in brick. The house features mainly 4-pane and plate glass sash and case windows, and has deep bracketed eaves.
On the north elevation, there is a door flanked by windows on the left, a blocked door on the right, and a window at the far right. The wallhead gable at the centre has a cross window. The south elevation has three windows on the ground floor and a window in the wallhead gable of the attic. Both the east and west gables have a window in the attic. The interior has not been seen.
