Description

West Lodge at Stanley Mills is a single-storey circular building designed by John Murray Robertson from Dundee, dating from around 1880 to 1890. It is constructed of stone and features a single window on the west side, with two windows flanking the door and notice-board on the east side. There are tall circular stacks on the north and south sides. The lodge has an ogee slate roof topped with a timber ball finial. The windows are of the sash and case type, featuring a 24-pane glazing pattern.
