Druidsmere House Gate Lodge

Druidsmere House Gate Lodge is a single-story lodge dating to circa 1885, likely designed by Andrew Heiton. It is built in a T-plan configuration. The lower portion of the walls is constructed from bull-faced rubble, while the upper elevations are harled. The roof is slated, featuring red ridge tiles and small plume finials at the gable peaks. Timber bay windows with five lights are set into rubble bases at the east and south gable ends. The timber bargeboards are pierced with quatrefoils and supported on simple timber brackets. These bay windows incorporate transoms, with upper panes of leaded glass and lower panes of plate glass. A catslide roof slopes down over the entrance porch, which is located in the northeast re-entrant angle. A flat-roofed, original boiler room is positioned at the rear southwest re-entrant angle. A single ridge stack is present on the roof. No original interior features survive.
